Grace Yung Foster
The Founder & CEO of The Inclusion Initiative. At 3 years old, she was abandoned at a local market in South Korea and orphaned. She immigrated to the US at 5-years-old, ended up in the foster care system and eventually adopted. Those who share her lived experience face challenges finding belonging and inclusion, especially in the workplace. Through The Inclusion Initiative, she has created belonging for those who share her Adoptee and Foster Care Alumni identities.
Nell Choi
Nell is the teen author of My Hospital Story, which she wrote to share her experience of being diagnosed with a rare disease at the age of eight. After her book was published in 2021, her story was covered on the CBS Evening News. As a rare disease advocate and the first junior ambassador for The Sumaira Foundation for NMOSD, she has delivered speeches, participated on podcasts, and moderated a panel at the UCLA Luskin Center.
